I've been writing as a hobby since I was eleven, and thirty-one years later I've finally completed my first book. It took 14 months to write, rewrite and edit, and is roughly 623 pages at 12pt Courier, double spaced, with 1" margins.
The first book in a chronicle that should take about ten books to tell. It takes its inspiration from a game that I've been running on irregular Friday nights for the past nine years in a world of my creation. My players are currently mid-way thorugh what I consider to be book eight, and I'm already 11,000 word into the rough draft of book two. Even if I cant get published, I'll keep writing, because this story really wants to be told.
