Oldgnome

I have been writing stories and poems since I was thirteen and like most writers I have had no choice in the matter. I am drawn to the desk and I suffer the tantalus of failed work that gets piled up or thrown to the back of a computer. Autism has excluded me quite a bit, for obvious reasons, but training as an artist helped me to connect to others without necessarily meeting them face to face. My writing came together this year with the completion of a novel "Dear Happenstance," By Toby Hallen (pen name) (Amazon). My second volume of short stories might be out next year.
