Hi

LOL I'm with you on that. I think characters playing off each other really adds zing to the story. Have to admit, I love my characters.
I've legit been trying to curb it a bit lately (not to the point of fully removing it mind, but some discussions feel like they go on for far longer than they should) and it's painful to do, but it's part of what growing as a writer is about. Learning to 'trim the fat' and whatnot. If I really want to keep something I can always add it to a later scene. But sometimes it do feel excessive.

There have been moments where I'm tryin a end a chapter and my characters just won't stop yapping lol like guys I love you but please haha

Hey Adam, where are you working on now? Have you found beta readers here?
Greetings, Larry. I came to Mythic Scribes only after publishing my second book. It's showcased on the promotions forum here. (My first book isn't, since that one isn't fantasy in the sense in which that term is used here, although one reviewer did apply it.) More recently, I've been composing some ultra-short stories for writing challenges, one here on Mythic Scribes and a few others elsewhere.
