Any advice or suggestions

I'm am a total newb when it comes to online social community forums and engagements like whatever this is. Im interested and excited to try and learn and hopefully engage and support other writers just as lost and confused as me. So any ideas sggestions or tips on how to utilize platforms like this are very appreciated. Thanks and maybe... be gentle with me.

Good to have you here
For my part I'd suggest starting off gently, maybe in some of the non-writing subforums
When you get a feel of the place and what to enter a conversation, give it a go
[Even if you don't know it] I am sure you have experiences and knowledge that other don't
This is a great place to learn and to share
The whole place is very friendly and supportive
A general rule [in most places I guess] is the more you give the more you get

Hello pmmg, thanks. Just an apparent newb struggling to distinguish the difference. I have never done anything like this before, mostly due to my own nievity and struggles to see the real world practicality of such platforms in the past. Hence troglodyte brain. Hopefully not too late to remedy or teach an old mule new tricks.
