I was curious if anyone has a good way to present a map to the reader when it is entirely too large? My map lives inside an adobe illustrator document as a rastor graphic that's somewhere around 80 inches by 80 inches. I rely on zooming in(yay rastor graphics!) for all the small details like cities. The whole map would be incomprehensible at scale. I've cut it up into pieces for the wiki, but I was wondering if anyone knew a cheap/simple way to make the map easier to digest? I also have the minor problem of despite ~10 years working on it, it is still not done.
Thoughts?
