Hi there. My name is James, I'm 19 (20 in four days) and live in the UK.
To be perfectly honest with you I didn't start reading avidly until 2011 after watching the first season of Game of Thrones and wasn't content with waiting a year to know what happens next. So I read all five books in the space between the first and second seasons, a feat that to this day I am baffled by as I cannot for the life of me summon the willpower to read them through again. I had so much fun reading the series that I began to seek out more novels to immerse myself in.
As more worlds unfolded before me as I went from book to book, I began to think up my own worlds, my own stories but had no idea where to start. I had written short origin stories for characters I had made for upcoming video games but nothing original. I though that coming to a community, here, where I can share my ideas and perhaps receive feedback and encouragement to start world building and fantasy storytelling.
Beyond the ambition to write, I enjoy playing video games and listening to music. I'm in my final weeks of my college course with a guaranteed place at University to study computer game technology.
I look forward to speaking with you all and learning as much as I can.
