Hello,

I ran across this website randomly. Was impressed by some of the front content and some of the discussion. So I registered.

About myself...I'm one of those people who is more interested in building a world than actually being a fan of it. I'm currently working on a few projects, in which I spend months, on and off, revising the same paragraph over and over, with the idea in my head but just out of grasp.

So,

One is set in low earth orbit.

One is set under the ocean.

One is set at the end of the universe.

And I'm debating on whether to find some way to link them all together like Asimov did.

Oh yes, and as to what I like to read. Favorite writer is Asimov. Foundation and I, Robot were delightful. Big Star Wars fan...though I was utterly horrified by the prequels. I'm of the opinion that The Phantom Menace was the best prequel film, while the next two were horrifically bad. The most impressive new fantasy I've read is Wild Blue Yonder comic. The Wake comic also deserves a mention.

I know what you mean about the idea in your head that is just out of grasp...
I have a three location, three time-setting, three reality story that I just can't get to work... I'm sure if I just keep on stirring the pot something good will come to the boil...
