Well, hello there...

Hi! I've began to post here rather randomly under topics I find interesting and now I feel it would be good to introduce myself. I live in Prague and write in Czech. I'm 25 years old, I'm quite experienced as a poet and I've written a novel that's not really fantasy (yet it has a lot of fantasy elements). Currently, I've decided to write a fantasy novel. Possibly a series. Possibly a lot more than a series. In the future. I've always loved fantasy RPGs (both tabletop and video games), Magic: The Gathering, gamebooks and all this stuff together with the likes of Tolkien and Sapkowski. But I also like dark, surreal, experimental stuff. My great influences from the world of film are Jim Jarmusch and David Lynch. I want to connect these loves of mine into a dark fantasy world. Well, I won't elaborate about it here. Heheh.

My name is Jan (Czech for John) but I've decided to have a pseudonym for this fantasy world. The pseudonym is Marian Vojta so you can as well call me Marian, I guess.
